Kingston Wi-Drive wireless portable flash storage for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch
Kingston has just announced a portable storage unit called Wi-Drive, a wireless, portable flash drive for IOS devices like iPad, iPhone 3G/3GS/4, iPod touch (3G is limited to iOS 4.2.1+), thereby expanding their capacity to store music, videos and files.
The device has flash memory, which has support for WiFi, so you can connect your PC to add files such as video, audio, documents, etc, so that you can share with your IOS devices wirelessly expand your storage without the need of changing iPhone.
The Kingston Wi-Drive has a capacity of 16GB and 32GB and is very easy to use, but you have to download an application from the App Store, iPhone is compatible with 3G/3GS and 4, with IOS 4.2.1 version.
The wireless connection allows three concurrent users to connect to stream with no loss of performance. The connection works on 802. 11 b / g with a security provided by a password.
The battery allows continuous operation for 4 hours, being available from July with a low price of $130 (16 GB Version).[read]
